R. Tech

We are R.Tech (Restoration Technology). We are an architectural and engineering firm specializing in the restoration of buildings, with a particular focus on the building envelope (i.e., walls and roofs). Much of our work derives from NYC’s Façade Inspection Safety Program, which requires regular inspections and repairs to make our streets safer.

We also act as consultants and project managers, and help our clients navigate the web of regulations that surrounds building in New York City and its environs.

Whether on job sites or in our office on the third floor we are always hard at work, but we are still delighted to chat while heading in or out.

Our team members hail from all across the world: Hamid, our principal and Registered Architect, is from Iran, Yely (Architect) is Dominican, Shefa (Engineer) hails from Palestine, and Håkan (Architect) is from Sweden. Three of us received our degrees from City College right here in Harlem, and we are only too happy to remain in the neighborhood. We also have a number of consultant specialists on our roster.
